Areas of Concentration
Mr. Weinsier focuses his practice on representing private equity and other investment funds and financial sponsors in all aspects of their investment, financing and other related transactions. These transactions include primary and secondary leveraged buyouts and other mergers and acquisitions of public and private companies, acquisitions of non-control equity interests in public and private companies, proxy contests, economic participations and other co-investments, institutional and bank financings, and a full range of venture capital financings, spanning from “angel” to late-stage investments. Mr. Weinsier also regularly represents public and private operating companies across a variety of industries, including the portfolio companies of his private equity and other fund and investor clients, for which he handles a wide range of transactional and other corporate matters, including their strategic add-on acquisitions, leveraged dividends, recapitalizations and other refinancings, joint ventures, dispositions, private placements and public offerings. His experience ranges from early-stage ventures to large capital market and other liquidity transactions.
