Areas of Concentration
Robb Patryk - Co-Chair of Hughes Hubbard's Product Liability & Toxic Tort Group and a member of the firm's governing Executive Committee - focuses on complex litigation related to claims of fraud or nondisclosure, usually involving the sale of consumer and industrial products or securities. He has 20 years experience in the national and international defense coordination of numerous mass torts involving prescription drugs, medical devices, asbestos, dietary supplements, blood products, specialty chemicals, and petroleum products. He has successfully defended several consumer fraud class actions in some of the nation's most difficult jurisdictions. As a member of Hughes Hubbard's Securities & Accountant's Liability Group, he has litigated securities and other commecial claims on behalf of the world's premier banks, accounting firms, and mutual funds, among others. Mr. Patryk also is active in providing pro bono legal services, especially to the music community, representing emerging composers and singer/songwriters in connection with contractual and other matters.
