Areas of Concentration
Hospitality/Resort. Hotel/resort development and acquisition; negotiation of hotel/resort management and operating agreements for both owners and managers; condominium and common area ownership projects including golf, marina and gaming amenities.
Real Estate. Acquisition and disposition of raw land and developed properties by entrepreneurial and institutional clients; subdividing, platting, and environmental and land use permitting of such property, construction financing and development of residential, condominium, and commercial projects; construction contract and related professional contracts incident to the development of real estate projects; and ground leases and tenant space leasing.
Financial Services. Representation of lenders and borrowers in construction loans; mini-perm and term loans secured by real estate, including hotel and resort financing; mezzanine loans secured by stock, membership and partnership interests; balance sheet loans and revolving credit facilities.
Joint Ventures & Strategic Alliances. Formation of equity joint ventures, off-shore equity investment funds and related investment vehicles, and co-branding and franchise structures.
Public/Private Partnerships. Long-term ground leases and development agreements between municipalities and private developers to develop projects financed with tax increment and other municipal bond financings, as well as conventional debt and equity sources.
