Alexander Friedman is an associate in Hughes Hubbard’s Washington, D.C. office and is a member of the firm’s Corporate and Equipment Finance Group, with a focus on commercial aircraft finance. Alex represents international aircraft lessors, commerical banks, airlines, and private equity investors in connection with a variety of transactions, including aircraft backed securitizations, credit facilities, finance and operating leases, aircraft purchases and sales, and sale leaseback transactions.
Prior to joining Hughes Hubbard as an associate, Alex was a summer associate in the firm’s D.C. office. Alex was also a Judicial Intern for the Honorable Sheri Bluebond of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Central District of California. He assisted Chief Judge and law clerks with analysis of motions and objections before the Court. He also conducted legal research and drafted memoranda relating to bankruptcy issues.
