Babaka Mputu is an associate in Hughes Hubbard & Reed's Paris office and a member of the firm's Anti-Corruption & Internal Investigations practice group. Babaka assists clients with matters involving French, U.S. and U.K. anti-corruption laws, including the performance of compliance reviews, internal investigations, and the implementation of anti-corruption compliance programs.Prior to joining Hughes Hubbard, Babaka interned in French and international law firms in Paris, where she worked in white-collar criminal litigation, arbitration, and energy and infrastructure, with a particular focus on anti-corruption and human rights compliance issues. She also practiced litigation in an NGO specialized in business and human rights and illicit financial flows.
