Christopher Whelan is an associate in the firm’s Corporate Reorganization and Litigation departments. He represents domestic and international companies in restructuring, as well as secured and general creditors in Chapter 7 and Chapter 11 proceedings. Chris also maintains an active pro bono practice, representing clients in immigration and family law cases.
Prior to joining Hughes Hubbard & Reed, Christopher served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Richard M. Berman in the Southern District of New York and subsequently for the Honorable Martin Glenn in United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.
