Elsa Malaty joined the Paris office of Hughes Hubbard & Reed LLP in 2014 and is a member of the Intellectual Property team.
Elsa works on all areas of intellectual property law with a focus on trademarks, copyright, patent litigation, anti-piracy and customs enforcement. Her transactional work includes contract drafting and negotiation in the same areas.
Elsa’s practice covers data protection and information technology. Within the framework of her data protection and information technology work, she has developed a particular expertise in data protection and IT governance; with a focus on compliance audits (notably in the framework of global programs on anti-corruption, anti-money laundering, sanctions and terrorism financing), health data processing and international transfers of personal data.
Prior to joining Hughes Hubbard & Reed LLP, Elsa interned at leading law and intellectual property firms in Paris and in United Kingdom.
