Elsa Malaty joined the Paris office of Hughes Hubbard & Reed LLP in 2014 and is a member of the Intellectual Property team.
She works on all areas of intellectual property law with a focus on trademarks, copyright, patent litigation, anti-piracy and customs enforcement. Her transactional work includes contract drafting and negotiation in the same areas.
Elsa’s practice covers data protection and information technology. Within the framework of this activity, she has developed specific expertise in data protection and IT governances; with a focus on compliance audits (notably as part of anti-corruption, anti-money laundering, sanctions and terrorist financing programs), processing health data and international transfers of personal data.
Before joining Hughes Hubbard & Reed LLP, Elsa held a number of internships at law and intellectual property firms in Paris and the United Kingdom.
