Monique is a partner in the Hughes Hubbard’s Labor & Employment practice in Paris. Her practice focuses primarily on labor law and complex litigation.
Monique and her team advise a wide range of French and international clients on matters relating to day-to-day assistance ((individual/ collective employment relationships, in all Labor law matters and settlement negotiations) and on all types of national or cross-border restructuring transactions.
As part of her litigation practice, she assists and represents her clients before the civil and administrative jurisdictions (individual and collective disputes).

Defending an international client specialized in Packaging before the Labor Court and Appeal Court and Tribunal de Grande Instance in (two sensitive collective litigation matters against 25 employees covering French Territory. The claimants are asking for the recognition of a co-employment situation further to being laid off following a restructuring operation as an extension of bankruptcy proceedings
Assisting and representing two International clients specialized in cardboard Packaging before the Labor Court and Appeal Court in five sensitive collective litigation matters against 89 employees related to a challenge of the application of a “working time” agreement negotiated within the company
Assisting and representing an international client specialized in metal packaging before the Labor Court and Appeal Court in several complex senior executive litigation matters in which the claimants were challenging their executive officer status, considering that the company did not comply with the French legal requirements applicable to their status
Defending a French association specialized in housing in a sensitive litigation concerning notably the interpretation of a recommendation applicable to all French agencies regarding the requirements to be followed for eligibility for a severance pay
Defended an international client in the metallurgy industry before the Tribunal de grande instance against Unions requesting the communication of specific financial documents to be examined by the works council’s expert
