Prior to Nathan’s retirement, he was a partner in Hughes Hubbard’s New York office and co-chair of the firm’s Pacific Basin practice. He focused on the full spectrum of legal services for the firm’s clients, including cross-border mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, securities offerings and private placements. He also handled government and private asset dispositions, banking and securities regulation matters, international tax and business planning and international litigation and arbitration cases related to commercial disputes and investigative matters.
Nathan served as legal advisor to the Korean Chamber of Commerce in the U.S.A., the Association of Korean Financial Institutions in America, and the Korean Educational Institute.
