Robert Auritt is a counsel in Hughes Hubbard’s Media, Technology & Commercial Transactions practice group. He provides strategic legal and commercial advice to clients on a wide array of media, entertainment, sports and technology related matters.
Prior to joining Hughes Hubbard, Rob spent nearly a decade within the Comcast NBCUniversal family of companies, most recently as Vice President and Deputy General Counsel at Comcast Spectacor, where he worked across the company’s deep portfolio of professional sports, event, and venue industry holdings. Before that Rob served as lead digital media lawyer for NBC Sports, where he led legal negotiations on critical agreements with major organizations, including Yahoo Sports, the NFL and Twitter and managed all legal matters relating to the NBC Regional Sports Networks’ web and mobile platforms.
Rob also has held prior positions in the music business and in law firms both large and small. His unique mix of in-house and private practice experience enables him to provide his clients with sophisticated and nuanced legal advice designed to help them achieve their business objectives.
