Sean Mason is an associate in Hughes Hubbard’s Washington, D.C. office. He is a member of the firm’s Litigation Department, working primarily with the Anti-Corruption & Internal Investigations and the Sanctions, Export Controls & Anti-Money Laundering practice groups. Sean also assists the firm’s Corporate and Equipment Finance group.
Prior to joining the firm, Sean worked as a legal intern in the SEC’s Student Honors Program, where he assisted in investigations of securities fraud and violations of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act.
Before attending law school, Sean was a paralegal for the U.S. Department of Justice in the FCPA Unit, where he assisted attorneys in all aspects of prosecution of complex cases involving violation of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act.
