Yolanda Mitchell has extensive trial experience, gained from her former position as an Assistant District Attorney in Louisiana for 10 years, where she prosecuted cases in criminal court, drug court and juvenile court. More recently, she has assisted counsel in the pre-trial and trial aspects of high-stakes state and federal product liability litigation throughout the country. Her work has included drafting documents, issue analysis, case investigation and collection of public records. She has also served as fact witness coordinator, maintaining a statistical synopsis of all pertinent information and conducted some of her own fact witness interviews as well. In addition, she has experience analyzing depositions and pleadings in order to draft documents that assist with witness selection.
