Amanda DeBusk, partner and Chair of the International Trade Department at Hughes Hubbard & Reed, received the Lifetime Achievement Award for her outstanding service to the Association of Women in International Trade (WIIT) and its sister group, the Women in International Trade Charitable Trust. DeBusk was honored at the WIIT annual dinner, held June 1, 2011 at the Hotel Madison in Washington, DC. DeBusk served as the former Commerce Department Assistant Secretary for Export Enforcement.
WIIT is a leading association in the international trade field. The Lifetime Achievement Award is the group’s highest member honor and a recognition of all DeBusk has done to support women and other attorneys throughout her career.
To qualify for the award, the honoree must have been active in WIIT for at least 10 years and had a significant impact on the association over the course of her membership. The individual should also serve as a role model, inspiring others to pursue a career in trade.
