November 20, 2019 - On Nov. 14, counsel Dina Hoffer served as a featured panelist for a New York State Bar Association program entitled “Women in Antitrust: Career Perspectives in Cartel and Criminal Practice.”
The program, held at Linklaters’ New York office, featured a one-hour panel discussion among Hoffer and three fellow Antitrust practitioners about their experiences as female leaders in the field. They addressed the concept of implicit bias and how it has played out in their careers, as well as the importance of diversity in white-collar and competition law practices.
Grace Pyun, senior associate at D’Arcambal Ousley & Cuyler Burk, moderated the session. The other panelists were Rebecca Meiklejohn, trial attorney at the U.S. Department of Justice’s Antitrust Division; and Alicia Alvelo, regulatory counsel at ride-sharing company Uber.
