Hughes Hubbard Assists in Sale of Colorado Hotel

Hughes Hubbard & Reed represented a hotel company in connection with the sale of a hotel in Colorado that has hosted many celebrities and politicians over the last two decades. The purchaser was a national real estate investment firm. 

The December transaction included negotiation and documentation of the hotel purchase and sale agreement, as well as a post-closing leaseback of the property for a necessary transition period.

The Hughes Hubbard team also worked with local counsel on a variety of issues in connection with the transfer of the existing liquor license to the purchaser and modification of easement agreements related to the hotel’s signage and other services.
