Pro Bono

Last year, Hughes Hubbard continued its staunch dedication to pro bono service, often in collaboration with the Legal Aid Society. The firm obtained green card status and asylum for those escaping oppression, worked on rent relief for vulnerable New Yorkers and contributed to Fordham Law School’s Fines and Fees report.

Green Card for Honduran Girl

After nearly five years, the firm obtained legal permanent residence for a Honduran child named Emily, who traveled to the United States to be reunited with her mother.
