Mathilde Ribalet joined the Corporate group of the Paris office of Hughes Hubbard & Reed in October 2006. She assists French and international companies and groups with issues related to corporate and contract law, focusing on restructuring operations and mergers and acquisitions.
She advises a varied clientele in a wide range of business areas, particularly the pharmaceutical and aeronautical industries, marine transportation and, more generally, the services sector.
Mathilde has particular experience in supporting companies during the incorporation and establishment phases, as well as with any reorganization and restructuring or transfer business activities that may be required. She also represents investors and industrialists in transactions to acquire equity interests in private French-law companies, concluding commercial leases and related operations, sale and transfer of corporate entities, leveraged buyouts and similar operations, including audits, acquisition and shareholder agreements, and issuing complex securities
She also assists companies with key technical and regulatory aspects of doing business in France, including practical issues related to launching and developing corporate projects while ensuring legal support and corporate housekeeping for their day-to-day operations.
