Firm Named to 2019 Global Investigations Review (GIR) 100

November 2019 — For the second consecutive year, Hughes Hubbard has been selected for inclusion in Global Investigations Review's GIR 100, an independent guide to the world's best firms for international investigations.

Since 2015, GIR has selected 100 firms from around the world that it deems most able to handle sophisticated cross-border government-led and internal investigations. Rankings for the annual guide are based on extensive research, including the number of active cases, how high-profile those cases are and hours billed by the firm with regard to investigations

An Oct. 25 profile of the firm noted that HHR had "proved its investigations prowess over the years, securing clients such as the former vice president of Fifa and Airbus," while also highlighting its role in defending a prominent auction house in a U.S. Senate inquiry into money laundering and sanctions evasion by Russian oligarchs.
