Hughes Hubbard welcomes 10 lawyers -- three new partners and seven associates -- to its Paris office Feb. 1, enhancing the firm’s ability to provide high-quality legal services in Europe and allowing HHR to offer a complete transactional and litigation platform.

The new colleagues join Hughes Hubbard from the Paris office of SNR Denton. The partners -- Sena Agbayissah, Alain Vincent and Stefan Naumann -- bring a wealth of experience in finance, corporate and commercial law, M&A, patent litigation and other areas.

The new team will enlarge and create synergies with corporate, banking and finance litigation and labor law groups in Paris and the U.S., as well as with the firm’s anti-corruption and compliance practice groups, whose European base is in the Paris office.

Hughes Hubbard Managing Partner Ted Mayer said the firm has been searching for the right opportunity to expand the Paris office, which has been widely recognized for its dispute resolution practice ever since HHR was one of the first U.S. firms to establish a presence there in 1966.

“We are committed to having a top quality full-service Paris office to serve out extensive base of international clients,” he said. “Sena, Alain and Stefan fit perfectly with our existing practices and our plans for the future.”
