Laureen
Bokanda-Masson is an associate in Hughes Hubbard’s Paris office. She joined the
White Collar & Regulatory Defense practice group in March 2020.
Her
practice focuses on complex litigations (in both commercial and criminal fields)
with a focus on cross-border litigation, white collar crime as well as national
and international multi-jurisdictional issues. She also intervenes in
international criminal law and regulatory litigation cases (ACPR and AMF
regulatory authorities).
Following
experiences with the strategic litigation department of the NGO Sherpa and a
defense team at the Khmer Rouge Tribunal (ECCC) in Phnom Penh, she joined the
litigation firm Boken as an associate in 2018.
Laureen
is also a member of the legal commission of the NGO AFPCU.
As
a graduate in international, European and comparative law from the University
of Toulouse (Master II) and the Maastricht University, Laureen trained with
French lawyers and British barristers.
She
practices in English and French.
