Biography

Thomas “Tom” Richardson is an associate in Hughes Hubbard’s Miami office and a member of the firm’s Corporate department with a focus on aircraft finance.  His practice focuses on representing leasing companies, issuers, underwriters, lenders, private equity investors, and global airlines in connection with a variety of financing and other corporate transactions involving commercial and business aviation assets.  

Tom is an experienced attorney who represents corporate, aviation and gaming clients on transactional matters. As part of his aviation practice, he represents owners, operators, manufactures, lenders and financial institutions in all aspects of the purchase, sale, leasing, financing and operation of business aircraft and fractional aircraft interests.

Tom was also an associate attorney in several major law firms before joining Hughes Hubbard & Reed. After law school, he clerked for the Hon. Benjamin C. Telsey of the New Jersey Superior Court and served as a panel attorney for the Volunteer Lawyers Project of the Boston Bar Association.
