January 30, 2017 — Hughes Hubbard represented United Continental Holdings Inc. (UAL), the parent company of United Airlines, in connection with its issuance of $300 million of 5 percent senior notes due 2024, which United Airlines guaranteed. UAL will use the proceeds for general corporate purposes.
 
The transaction closed on Jan. 26, 2017. The underwriting group included Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Smith Incorporated, J.P. Morgan Securities LLC, Barclays Capital Inc. and Deutsche Bank Securities Inc.
