February 11, 2020 — The firm is representing global information technology leader Infosys in its acquisition of Simplus, the global leader of Salesforce quote-to-cash.

Infosys announced on Feb. 10 that it entered into an agreement to purchase Utah-based Simplus, which provides consultancy services to companies seeking to implement and enhance their use of Salesforce, a popular customer relationship management platform. Terms of the deal, expected to close during the first quarter of 2020, were not disclosed.

The acquisition enhances Infosys’ cloud-first digital transformation capabilities, and strengthens Infosys’ presence across the U.S. and Australia, where Simplus is currently one of the fastest growing Salesforce implementation service providers.

“The strategic combination of scalable and agile global delivery capabilities of Simplus complements our effort to help global enterprises to transform their businesses,” Infosys COO Pravin Rao said in a statement. “We are excited to welcome Simplus and its leadership team into the Infosys family.”

Established in 1981 and headquartered in Bangalore, India, Infosys employs more than 240,000 employees across 46 countries. HHR previously provided legal counsel to Infosys during its acquisition of Seattle-based creative agency Wongdoody in April 2018.

Based in Salt Lake City, Utah and formed in 2014, Simplus provides enterprise-wide digital transformation across the entire Salesforce ecosystem through advisory, implementation, change management, and managed services.
