Hughes Hubbard Advising the Partners of Gleacher Shacklock on the Sale of their Interests to Perella Weinberg

Hughes Hubbard is advising the partners of Gleacher Shacklock, a premier independent advisory firm headquartered in London with a focus and long-standing presence in the UK advisory market, on the sale of their interests in Gleacher Shacklock to Perella Weinberg Partners, a leading global independent advisory firm.

The transaction is expected to close in the second half of 2026, subject to regulatory approval and customary closing conditions.

The Hughes Hubbard team is led by Gerold Niggemann and Javad Husain with assistance from Gary Simon, Chuck Samuelson and Erin DeCecchis. Hughes Hubbard is working closely with Gleacher Shacklock’s General Counsel Chloe Gal and a team from Slaughter and May led by Robin Ogle and Warwick Brennand.
