New York City, January 4, 2023–Hughes Hubbard & Reed LLP is pleased to announce that Sabrina Silverberg has joined the firm’s Corporate and Mergers & Acquisitions practices as counsel. A leading practitioner in the media, entertainment and technology sectors, she joins after three decades serving in-house at some of the country’s top entertainment and media institutions, including Condé Nast and MTV Networks (now Paramount Media Networks).

During the course of her career, Silverberg successfully helped to build and manage Condé Nast’s first ever globally integrated Legal & Policy department. Prior to that, Silverberg built up a notable technology startup’s legal functions, including data protection and other compliance programs. Silverberg has also headed the business affairs function for a publicly traded leading publisher of interactive entertainment. “Sabrina brings with her a wealth of knowledge and skill handling affairs for the country’s most distinguished players in entertainment and media, including a vast array of transactional experience in media, publishing, television, film, video games, digital media and podcasting,” said Ted Mayer, chair of Hughes Hubbard. “With her experience and skill, she can take a leading role advising our clients at all stages of the development and distribution process on a global level. We are very excited to have her aboard.”

“I am excited to join Hughes Hubbard and leverage the extensive experience I’ve gained working in-house in the media, entertainment and technology sectors to provide clients with high quality advice on a wide and diverse array of matters,” said Silverberg.
