Katie Coleman, co-chair of Hughes Hubbard’s Corporate Reorganization & Bankruptcy practice, has been named to the 2026 Lawdragon 500 Leading Global Bankruptcy and Restructuring Lawyers list, which recognizes top lawyers worldwide for excellence in bankruptcy, restructuring and related financial litigation.

Coleman has more than 35 years of experience advising clients in complex Chapter 11, cross-border insolvency and restructuring matters, as well as in high-stakes litigation.

She most recently led Hughes Hubbard teams representing United Airlines as a strategic partner in Azul Linhas Aéreas Brasileiras’ Chapter 11 restructuring and advising GOL Linhas Aéreas Group and 12 affiliated debtors in their Chapter 11 cases in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.
