On Feb. 27, Remy Gerbay moderated the webinar “Arbitration through the Ages: A Discussion on the Evolution of International Arbitration” hosted by Queen Mary University of London. The webinar explored how the history of international arbitration informs its present and future.

The webinar covered insights into the history and sociology of international arbitration based on original archival material collected at the International Chamber of Commerce and its Court of Arbitration – including unpublished arbitral awards from the 1920s onward.

Gerbay was joined by panelists Florian Grisel, a research fellow at the Centre national de la recherche scientifique and the University of Oxford, and Mikaël Schinazi, an associate at Gaillard Banifatemi Shelbaya Disputes and a visiting lecturer at Sciences Po Law School, Paris.
