Dec. 8, 2025 – Eight Hughes Hubbard lawyers were recognized in the Lexology Index: Arbitration 2026, published in partnership with Global Arbitration Review. The index highlights leading international arbitration practitioners chosen based on Lexology’s research.

John Townsend was named a Thought Leader, Sébastien Bonnard, Jim Boykin, Gaela Gehring Flores and Remy Gerbay were ranked Highly Recommended, while Alexander Marcopoulos, Eleanor Erney and Brian Vaca were listed as Future Leaders, lawyers 45 and under expected to become prominent in the next generation.

Recent firm work includes defending Panama in a $2 billion International Chamber of Commerce claim, representing Ukraine’s electricity company Ukrenergo in a €527 million investment treaty claim against Russia over its Crimean assets and securing the enforcement of a $140 million investment treaty award won by Deutsche Telekom against India.
