We have a long history of achieving favorable results for clients located throughout the Asia-Pacific region.

Our roots in the region are in Japan, where we have decades of experience representing large companies and financial institutions. The firm maintains a presence in Tokyo that is supported by highly credentialed lawyers from all of our offices.

Propelled by our reputation for providing the highest quality legal work, our practice has expanded well beyond Japan. We have represented clients located in numerous Asian-Pacific countries, and have forged close relationships with lawyers and law firms throughout the region.

We value our personal relationships with our clients. We understand their business practices and culture. We make it a point to work collaboratively and in a manner that is respectful of their traditions.

We also pride ourselves on our ability to work with Asia-Pacific law firms on their most important US cases and transactions. Our ability to work well with others has long been a defining characteristic of our firm, and many of our matters involve multiple law firms working together to find the most effective solutions for our clients.

We protect our clients’ interests in disputes, advise them on major transactions, and partner with them to further their business objectives. We also assist them with their most sophisticated extraterritorial and multi-jurisdictional matters including:

  • Anti-corruption and Foreign Corrupt Practices Act
  • Antitrust, Competition and Cartel Investigations
  • Cross-Border Transactions and Financings
  • International Trade
  • Import and Export Compliance
