Ken Lefkowitz and Gerold Niggemann Named 2022 “Dealmakers of the Year” by The American Lawyer

March 28, 2022 - Ken Lefkowitz and Gerold Niggemann were named 2022 “Dealmaker of the Year” by The American Lawyer for their work advising Grab Holdings Inc. in its business combination with special purpose acquisition company Altimeter Growth Corp. at a pro forma valuation of $39.6 billion, the largest de-SPAC deal ever.

The magazine’s annual list recognizes “the deals that mattered and the attorneys who made them happen” by showing creativity, client commitment and business savvy that delivered on their clients’ objectives.

Lefkowitz and Niggemann spearheaded the M&A effort for the deal, conducting complex negotiations with SPAC Altimeter Growth Corp. and Grab Holdings Inc. shareholders to agree to the merger in an extremely condensed timeframe.
