Nathalie Rey is a member of the firm’s Banking & Financial Services practice. She specializes in cross-border finance transactions, acquisition finance, aircraft and maritime finance, and asset-based lending. She is fluent in French and Haitian Kreyol and is also a proficient Spanish speaker.
Before joining Hughes Hubbard, Nathalie served as senior counsel at the Export-Import Bank of the United States, where she advised the Bank on trade finance and corporate aircraft transactions. She also advised the U.S. delegation to UNIDROIT in connection with the proposed Fourth Protocol to the Cape Town Convention on matters specific to agricultural, construction and mining equipment.
After graduating magna cum laude from Brooklyn Law School, Nathalie clerked for the Honorable Harold Baer, Jr. in the Southern District of the United States District Court of New York and then was an associate at White & Case LLP in the Bank Finance division.
