Jan. 27, 2026 – Airline Economics recognized Griffin Global Asset Management's $1.245 billion aircraft ABS as the Aviation 100 Global Overall Deal of the Year at its Global Leaders Awards ceremony.

Hughes Hubbard guided Griffin and the newly established special purpose companies that comprise Griffin’s Midlife Aircraft Master Trust Platform – GGAM Master Trust International and GGAM Master Trust US – on the closing of the inaugural issuance of $1.245 billion in fixed-rate notes. The notes were backed by an initial aircraft portfolio comprised of a mix of 25 narrowbody and widebody aircraft that have a weighted average age of 4.1 years and are on lease to 19 airlines in 15 countries.

The team was led by Steven Chung, Terry Sanders and Alan Kravitz with significant contributions from Andrew Fowler, Sean Murphy, Justin Cohen, Jenny Graham, David Cohen, Michael Carroll, Olivia Rose, Pete Shaker and Justine Yoon.
