J. Scott Sanders II is an associate in the New York office of Hughes Hubbard. He is a member of the firm’s Litigation Department and focuses his practice on complex cross-border disputes and white collar defense. Scott has experience representing clients in all facets of litigation in both federal and state court. Scott also maintains an active pro bono practice, representing clients in immigration, prisoners' rights, and employment cases.
Prior to joining the firm, Scott served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Diane Gujarati of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York and for the Honorable James M. Wicks of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York.
Scott received his Juris Doctor from St. John’s University School of Law in May 2020, where he served as a Senior Staff Member for the St. John’s Law Review.
