May 20, 2021 – Gerold Niggemann is an honoree in The Deal’s Top Rising Stars: Class of 2021.
The list, released on May 19, spotlights new M&A-focused partners at major U.S. law firms who have shown an ability to navigate complex deal-making situations. Gerold was promoted to partner in January.
The Deal highlighted Gerold’s recent work for U.K.-based JD Sports Fashion in several acquisitions, Grab Holdings Inc. in numerous rounds of funding as well as its combination with a special purpose acquisition company (SPAC) backed by Altimeter Capital in the largest de-SPACing merger ever, and Platinum Equity in its $1.9 billion purchase of Wesco Aircraft.
