December 23, 2020 — Katie Coleman, a partner in Hughes Hubbard's Corporate Reorganization & Bankruptcy practice, was recognized on Crain’s New York Business’ Notable Women in Law list.

Crain's New York Business, which provides insights and analysis on how to navigate the city's complex business and political landscape, released the list in its Dec. 21 issue.

Coleman was among top New Yorkers selected for inclusion in the annual list, which celebrates "women executives working in law who have impacted New York City in major ways" and honors their "professional, civic and philanthropic achievements."

The publication noted that the women were "chosen not only for their skills and accomplishments, but also for their efforts to shore up the edifice of justice."

Coleman was recognized for her sweeping knowledge of insolvency law, which includes extensive experience with restructurings for domestic and offshore companies, out-of-court restructurings, investments and acquisitions, as well as with trade secret and anti-corruption law cases and nationwide Department of Justice investigations.
