Partner Sena Agbayissah Named Among Jeune Afrique's 50 Top Lawyers in Francophone Africa

June 20, 2019 — For the second consecutive year, partner Sena Agbayissah has been named among the 50 most influential business lawyers in French-speaking Africa by Paris-based magazine Jeune Afrique.

In the third annual edition, published June 13, Agbayissah was ranked fifth -- up 20 spots from the previous year. For the rankings, the magazine identified 1,600 cases and transactions from 330 lawyers to determine the top 50.

The rankings are based on several factors, including the number of cases handled, their complexity, the amounts at stake, as well as the economic and social utility of each project.

A profile of Agbayissah noted his recent deals for the government of Côte d'Ivoire, or Ivory Coast, to construct a series of power plants to increase the country's energy supply as the leading exporter of electricity to the surrounding region.
