Gaela Gehring Flores Named One of Latinvex’s Top 100 Female Lawyers
Gaela Gehring Flores has been named to Latinvex’s Top 100 Female Lawyers list for the eleventh consecutive year.
The annual ranking honors leading women lawyers at international law firms who are active in Latin America-related legal matters. Gehring Flores was among 32 lawyers recognized for their work in arbitration and litigation.
Latinvex cited Gehring Flores’ more than 25 years of experience in high-stakes international arbitration across the region, writing: “Key work includes representing the Republic of Panama in $50 billion pre-arbitration negotiations and strategic planning involving the renegotiation of a contract with Canadian miner First Quantum, one of its most important investors.”
The outlet also noted: “She served as lead counsel for the Republic of Peru in … a $1 billion commercial arbitration concerning the alleged breach of a share purchase agreement for a metallurgical complex.”
Additionally, Latinvex highlighted that both Chambers Latin America 2026 and the latest Legal 500 Latin America recognized her for her international arbitration work across the region.
