Hughes Hubbard Advises Banks in Gerdau’s $1.125B Credit Facility
Hughes Hubbard advised a club of nine banks on a five-year, $1.125 billion revolving credit facility for leading Brazilian steel company Gerdau S.A. and several of its subsidiaries. The cross-border transaction involved obligors in seven jurisdictions: Argentina, Brazil, the British Virgin Islands, Canada, Mexico, Peru and the United States.
Partner Emilio Saiz led the Hughes Hubbard team, which included partner Sean Reilly, counsel Justin Cohen and associates Santiago Diaz-Seijido, George Cortina and Anna Semidei.
