Hughes Hubbard Partner Sena Agbayissah Named Top Corporate Lawyer in Francophone Africa by Jeune Afrique

July 23, 2020 -—Partner Sena Agbayissah has been named the most influential business lawyer in French-speaking Africa by Paris-based magazine Jeune Afrique.

The magazine ranked Agbayissah No. 1 in its fourth annual edition of the top corporate lawyers. The ranking, published July 17, marked the third year in a row that Agbayissah was selected for inclusion on this list. He was ranked fifth last year and No. 25 two years ago.

To better reflect the diversity and richness of the practitioners, Jeune Afrique included twice as many honorees in the overall rankings this year from the 50 in the previous edition. The rankings are based on several factors, including the number of cases handled, their complexity, the financial value at stake, as well as the economic and social impact of each project.
