Ken Lefkowitz Named “Corporate Attorney of the Year” Finalist by The American Lawyer

August 9, 2022 — Partner Ken Lefkowitz was recognized as a “Corporate Attorney of the Year” finalist by the American Lawyer in its 2022 Industry Awards. The awards recognize the "lawyers, business professionals, law firms and organizations that are elevating the legal profession to new heights." 

Ken’s notable representations include a portfolio of international “unicorn” tech company clients (privately held or formerly privately held startups valued at more than $1 billion), among them Grab, Ualá, Coupang and OYO, as well as marquee companies spanning the media/entertainment, airline, pharmaceutical and technology industries on numerous cross-border and otherwise significant M&A deals, including AMC Networks, Madison Square Garden Entertainment Corp., Sotheby’s, Delta Airlines and Paramount Global. 

In the largest special purpose acquisition company (SPAC) merger of 2021, Ken led the Hughes Hubbard team that represented Grab Holdings Inc. in its $39.6B business combination with SPAC Altimeter Growth Corp.  

The winners will be announced at AmLaw's Industry Awards gala on November 10th in New York.
