Nathan Cole joined the New York office of Hughes Hubbard & Reed in 2017 as a member of the litigation department. Nathan’s area of focus is employment law.
Prior to joining Hughes Hubbard, Nathan held several legal internships. Among them was a judicial externship for the Honorable Ann M. Donnelly of the Eastern District of New York where he conducted legal research and assisted in drafting decisions including a decision addressing a prisoner’s petition for writ of habeas corpus alleging federal constitutional rights violations. He served as a mediator with the New York Peace institute where he mediated conflicts and drafted legal binding contracts for the parties. Nathan also interned with the Legal Aid Society Juvenile Rights Practice where, among other things, he drafted and argued an Order to Show Cause.
