Hughes Hubbard Hosts Compliance Academy in Paris

Hughes Hubbard hosted a four-day Compliance Academy in its Paris office, designed to build the knowledge, skills and competencies of junior compliance officers.

This year’s program combined traditional training modules with dedicated workshops, giving participants practical experience applying what they’ve learned, and strengthening both their capabilities and confidence in day-to-day work.

The academy featured panels on recent developments in anti-corruption law, ESG and the EU omnibus, anti-money laundering, third-party due diligence, multilateral development banks, EU and U.S. sanctions and export controls, red flags for diversion risks, and conducting internal investigations.

Daniel McLaughlin, Sean Reilly, Tamara Kraljic, Salomé Garnier, Ilaria Bellini and Cynthia Teyssou-Ramiro led the academy.
