McCabe, Francis

Francis is a partner in the Washington, DC, office of Hughes Hubbard and a member of the Project Finance practice. He represents project sponsors, lenders, government agencies and other project participants in domestic and cross-border project financing transactions, particularly in Latin America. He has extensive experience advising new entrants into the energy and infrastructure sectors, particularly sponsors and developers conducting their first financings.

Francis’ practice covers the full spectrum of transactions, including tax equity and debt financings; portfolio facilities; and equity investments, in addition to advising domestic and foreign companies on asset sales, joint ventures and carve-outs. He has advised clients on deals involving renewables, biomass, renewable natural gas, mining, LNG, thermal power and hydrogen.

Prior to attending law school, Francis was an officer in the United States Marine Corps.
