Hughes Hubbard Earns New Rankings in 2026 Benchmark Litigation Guide

Hughes Hubbard’s Dispute Resolution practice in New York earned a new ranking of Recommended in the 2026 edition of Benchmark Litigation, with eight lawyers also receiving national and regional recognition.

Robb Patryk maintained his ranking as a Litigation Star and National Practice Area Star for Product Liability and Recall, while John Townsend maintained his recognition as a Litigation Star and National Practice Area Star for International Arbitration and Securities. William Kolasky maintained his recognition as a Litigation Star for Competition/Antitrust nationally and in Washington, D.C., and Jim Fitzpatrick maintained his recognition as a Litigation Star for Product Liability in New York, while Marc Weinstein earned a new ranking as a Litigation Star in New York for White Collar Crime, Securities and Commercial Litigation.

In addition, both Neil Oxford and Jeremy Schulman earned a new ranking of Future Star in New York and Washington, D.C., respectively, while Malik Havalic was named to Benchmark Litigation’s 40 & Under List for International Arbitration.

The rankings follow several significant litigation and arbitration victories for the firm, including an $11.5 million award for Aeroport Belbek against Russia, confirmation of a nearly $132 million arbitral award for Deutsche Telekom against India and the Second Circuit’s affirmance of a more than $476 million judgment for Denmark’s tax authority, SKAT.
